Hi
First off, PHPverse is coming back! We'll host our online, free-for-all conference on June 9th this year, with speakers like Fabien Potencier, Jeffrey Way, Jonathan Bossenger, Elizabeth Barron, and more! Nuno and I will host the event, and we hope we can double the amount of attendees compared to last year. So I hope to see you there!
Next, I had a lot of fun these past two weeks rebuilding a game I made two years ago with Tempest. I did a small livestream series about it, which was really fun.
Then, some sad news: my IKEA Slabang clock died 🥺. That might seem like a random statement, but I wrote a blog post about it almost five years ago. This clock was a beautiful piece of technology that is only rarely seen anymore these days. It did a perfect job solving the problem it was designed to solve, and it was robust enough to last almost two decades (which includes a couple of years of kids often throwing the thing around).
