Hi
For the past months I've been working on and off on an audiobook version of my sci-fi novel: Timeline Taxi. I plan on releasing it for free on my personal YouTube channel over the coming weeks. From now on, I'll publish a new chapter twice a week, and you can follow along, the first chapter is now live.
I enjoyed writing the story, and I hope it will bring joy to some of you reading/listening to it! That's enough non-tech-related news, high-time to share with you what I read this past month.
From the feed
- PHP Foundation Director interview — I talked to Elizabeth Barron, the new director of the PHP Foundation.
- Two soups, two cookies — Liam shares an interesting insight.
- Why use static closures? — Yeah, why?
- Matt Stauffer joins the Foundation Board — Great news, in my opinion.
- Truly decoupled Discovery — one of Tempest's latest features, and it's really great!
- Private Packagist's contribution to the open source pledge — I think all companies should follow their example.
- Writing a PDF parser in PHP from scratch — I'm not saying you should, but it's interesting to find out what it takes.
That's it for now, I wish you a productive week — and I hope you'll enjoy listening to Timeline Taxi 😁
