Exciting news! Tonight at 6:30 PM UTC, I will interview the new PHP Foundation Director live on stream! I hope as many people as possible will join and bring their own questions for her as well. Here's the link to the stream.
In other news, the 100-million-row challenge finished last week. I could never have imagined how far people would push PHP's performance. Eventually they were able to parse 100 million rows in just over 2 seconds! Congratulations to the winners, you can check out their entries here.
Finally, we released tempest/discovery as a proper standalone package. This is a super cool feature, and I also made a video showing how to use it in practice by adding route attributes to Laravel.
